New Approach – Progressive
We normally write the whole study
before publishing it. Starting April of
2022 we are going to publish progressively until we are Satisfied with our
effort. We use our literacy efforts for
several reasons. One is to express
ourselves. A few more are to express our
concerns. In due course we process. We are going to share high impact concerns
mixed with lower impact concerns. One of
our biggest concerns right now is Brand New Day mediated dental care. When we are Satisfied we will publish a
summary and a summative Mentalation Solutions Group (MSG) Stars Score.

Consumer Rated Stars
Over time Brand New Day (BND) has mailed out their quarterly “The Healthy Habit” Newsletter. We here at Mentalation Solutions Group (MSG) did not receive a BND Newsletter for Winter Quarter 2022. More often than not BND asks its’ consumers such as Keith “Buster” Torkelson MS to rate their service and “Give us 5.0 stars”. Stars ratings are on open-ended effort. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) more often than not awards Stars yearly to Health Insurance agencies such as BND. With their 2021 rating for BND CMS awarded BND was 3.5 CMS Stars. Based on CMS scores BND has improved slightly since 2012. From the consumer angle COVID has taken its’ toll on BND’s services and supports

20220427-W: Priorities
Keith “Buster” Torkelson is now sixty-three
(63) years old. He is retired and living
on a fixed income. Monies and gifts from
the Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA) have dried up. For Buster now affordable health care means
no out-of-pocket. We used stimulus monies
last year (2021) for Buster’s dental work.
Our priorities are to address concerns that are time sensitive and about
expectations for the near future. The
time sensitive items are containing costs with dental work and our monthly
Healthy Food benefit. Brand New Day
(BND) has a Rewards program. They owe us
at least $50.00 for completing our annual Wellness Visit (Physical). Last year we relied on Buster BND helper to
push the AWV reward through. Yet, it is
too much work for him therefore we will submit a formal complaint to BND
Corporate. Last year for the first time
Buster suffered co-pays with his Dermatologist.
The procedure was called MOHS.
There is a chance that Buster may have another MOHS this next year
(2022). After we get going on our
complaints we will finish up this report.
