How is it that we charter a standalone
Blog about Brand New Day HMO (BND)? Mentalations
Solutions Group (MSG) is our product line for addressing the seriously and
persistently behaviorally challenged.
Our products are primarily data sets.
As needed (PRN), we write our own assessment tools. Since 2008 we have vetted more than fifty
(50) Commercial-Of-The-Shelf (COTS) evaluation instruments. Our efforts are primarily External Quality
Review (EQR) and Quality Control (QC).
We find that through planning, evaluation, and execution we find
satisfaction. We charter this Blog with
as much objective information as possible.
We hope that you and yours as well experience Better Outcomes Than Ever
(BOTE)!

These members do not recall any government or health plan promotion of the Star Ratings program. They learn about plans from the mailings they get and often from professional advisors, such as brokers or former employers.”

Brand New Day was well represented at this year’s Meeting Of the Minds (MOMs) Conference. Their regional salesman (community liaison), Rick Mark, worked very hard promoting the BND product line. We here at MSG picked up two pieces of marketing collateral from Mr. Marks. These are:

AND
Health Maintenance Organization Special Needs Plan for Individuals with Mental Illness
We are sure if you call Customer Service @ 866-255-4795 you can have them mailed to you.

Nor does the Pentafold include BND’s CMS Stars Score history that is now at the 2017 scores.

Qualifying Members Must Have:
Medicare Part A and B (and may also have Medi-Cal). You must continue to pay your Part B premium.
Primary diagnosis of severe mental illness (Schizophrenia, Schizo-affective Disorder, Major Depression, Paranoid Disorder, or Bipolar Disorder).
Must receive all routine care from plan providers.

The last criterion is not enforced to the letter of the rule. We here at MSG know members about a yearly cycle that do not receive all routine care. BND sent out letters to those that accomplished all routine care. All the members that we queried did not get the Kudos Letter (2017). Well that is about it for the time being. As we discover more cool features about BND and those features we may sustain objectivity we will append more.
